As an ISAM, you’ll be the trusted advisor to our SME customers understanding their IT strategies and helping them achieve their goals through technology. You’ll be responsible for both new business growth and retention of existing revenue, while actively contributing to our customer-first culture. We’re looking for someone with a growth mindset, someone who sees challenges as opportunities, takes ownership of outcomes, and learns from every experience.
Key Responsibilities as an Inside Sales Account Manager:
- Proactively engage with customers: minimum one interaction per month and regular account reviews.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs for new business and retention.
- Build and maintain account development plans, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Identify and mitigate retention risks with strategic save plans.
- Drive marketing campaigns and ensure relevant content reaches your customer base.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, including forecasting and pipeline management.
- Follow structured sales methodologies for lead and opportunity management.
- Collaborate with sales support to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Attend partner events and mandatory training to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Own and develop a personal development plan aligned with team goals.
Education and Qualifications
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
Competencies and Skills
- Minimum 2 years in a B2B sales environment.
- Experience in IT, Telecoms, Managed Services, or Cloud Solutions is desirable but not essential.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Self-starter with excellent facilitation and organisational skills.
- Proficient in CRM systems and sales process methodologies.
