What You’ll Be Doing as a Linux Security Engineer:
Technical Support & Compliance
- Deliver hands-on support for Linux and Windows environments.
- Maintain a compliant, secure network infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve support tickets while meeting SLAs.
- Keep helpdesk systems updated in real time with meaningful insights.
Project Delivery & Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead IT projects from planning to execution.
- Configure, install, and test network and computer equipment.
- Liaise with key stakeholders and keep them informed throughout.
Security & Risk Management
- Conduct risk assessments before implementing changes.
- Work closely with the client’s security team to meet compliance standards.
- Stay up to date with secure IT systems and best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on Linux administration experience).
- Strong technical background with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Azure AD.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience delivering IT projects end-to-end.
Certifications We Value (but don’t require all):
- Linux: CompTIA Linux+, RHCSA/RHCE, LPIC-1/2/3
- Windows: MCSE or equivalent
- Security: CISSP, CISM, or similar
Desirable Extras
- Knowledge of IT product lifecycle and data management.
- Familiarity with the automotive industry (a bonus, not a must

- Full UK driving licence and access to a car required.
- Must be able to work in the UK without restrictions.
