You’ll be responsible for identifying and securing new mobile sales opportunities across a defined market, sector, or region helping our customers Do More through innovative mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities as a Mobile Business Development Manager:
- Deliver monthly and quarterly new business gross profit and mobile connection targets.
- Devise and execute a strategy for targeting your agreed market, sector, or region.
- Generate high volumes of new appointments through proactive outreach.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline with a 3:1 opportunity-to-target ratio.
- Collaborate with marketing, telemarketing, and product specialists to create compelling propositions.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and present opportunity plans at director level.
- Engage mobile sales specialists and pre-sales teams to support opportunities.
- Ensure seamless onboarding of new clients by liaising with internal teams.
- Maintain CRM records and complete ad hoc reports as required.
- Understand the principle drivers in CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
Requirements as a Mobile Business Development Manager:
Education & Qualifications:
- A good standard of education; degree-level qualification desirable.
Experience & Knowledge:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in mobile sales within a B2B environment.
- Proven success in consistently achieving new business and mobile connection targets.
- Strong understanding of the mobile industry and sales cycle.
- Confident in engaging with senior decision-makers and presenting at director level.
