Empower customers. Drive secure endpoint solutions. Join us as our Senior Microsoft Endpoint Specialist!
We’re looking for a friendly, confident Senior Microsoft Endpoint Specialist to join our growing Endpoint Team. If you’re passionate about creating secure, seamless, modern device experiences and enjoy guiding customers through smart, practical solutions, this could be your perfect next step.
You’ll combine hands‑on technical expertise with strong customer understanding, supporting discovery, shaping solutions, and delivering high‑quality endpoint deployments. Working closely with colleagues across Professional Services, you’ll help refine and evolve our endpoint offerings, ensuring customers get the smooth, secure experience they expect.
About the role
As a Senior Microsoft Endpoint Specialist, you’ll act as a subject‑matter expert across the full Microsoft Endpoint ecosystem — from Intune and Autopilot to Windows, macOS, iOS and Android. You’ll support pre‑sales conversations, deliver end‑to‑end technical work, and serve as an escalation point for the Endpoint Team.
This role blends consultancy, solution shaping, and hands‑on delivery. You’ll be a trusted advisor to customers, a key contributor to our endpoint services, and a collaborative member of a friendly, supportive team.
Remote working is supported, with some travel to customer sites and occasional visits to our Bedford office (at least once per quarter unless otherwise agreed).
What you’ll be doing as a Senior Endpoint Specialist:
- Act as a technical expert in Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), Autopilot, and multi‑platform endpoint management (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).
- Support pre‑sales conversations by shaping solutions, preparing scopes and designs, and clearly articulating technical value.
- Help refine and continuously improve our endpoint build, configuration, and management services.
- Deliver hands‑on technical work, including builds, deployments, configurations, security hardening, automation, testing, and documentation.
- Provide technical leadership and escalation support across the Endpoint Team.
- Promote a consistent, secure, user‑focused experience across all solutions delivered.
- Produce structured documentation and handovers to ensure smooth transition into BAU support.
- Stay current with Microsoft technologies and work towards relevant certifications.
- Occasionally support Windows POS builds and deployments (not a core focus).
Working style
- Some customer site travel is required.
- Remote workers will need to visit the Bedford office periodically (minimum once per quarter).
- Ideally, you’ll hold, or be willing to obtain, certifications such as MS‑102, MD‑102, SC‑300, SC‑401 (training provided).
- You’ll spend extended periods working at a computer.
- You will need transport for occasional office visits.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone with strong technical capability, excellent communication skills, and a customer‑first mindset.
Technical Experience
- Deep hands‑on experience with Intune and Autopilot in both SMB and Enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of endpoint security, compliance frameworks, and modern management best practice.
- Skilled at troubleshooting and diagnostics with a methodical, structured approach.
- Experience running effective user acceptance testing (UAT) programmes.
- Comfort working across Windows, macOS, iOS and Android environments.
- Experienced in producing high‑quality documentation and supporting knowledge transfer.
- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell or similar), Group Policy fundamentals, Entra ID, and application lifecycle tools such as Robopack.
- Broad IT troubleshooting background.
Desirable Knowledge
- Wider Microsoft 365 or Azure understanding.
- Experience with cross‑platform or handheld device management.
- Exposure to application packaging or Windows Store for Business.
- Ability to contribute customer insight to shape future services.
Personal qualities
We’d love to meet someone who is:
- A clear and confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Customer‑focused, approachable, and able to guide conversations at all levels.
- Strategic in thinking, able to translate customer needs into practical, secure Microsoft‑based solutions.
- A collaborative team player who brings positive energy and initiative.
- Organised, methodical, and diligent in documentation.
- Analytical, structured, and proactive in problem solving.
- Adaptable, curious, and always looking for ways to improve.
What We Offer:
- 33 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays), with entitlement increasing by one day for each full calendar year employed, up to a maximum of five days.
- Annual pay reviews.
- Holiday buy scheme.
- All-company bonus scheme.
- Death in service cover.
- Employee assistance programme.
- Company pension.
- Active social calendar.
- A strong focus on developing our people.
