Reporting to the Content & Communications Manager and collaborating with a supportive and enthusiastic internal marketing team at this dynamic business technology solutions provider, we are on the hunt for a creative and proactive Content & Social Assistant. This role is key to producing outstanding, consistent content across various platforms, including social media and email marketing.
You will support the Marketing Team's content creation and activation efforts, managing daily activities on our social channels, aiding campaign efforts through content development, and facilitating internal communications within the company. Additionally, you will collaborate with our senior content creator, assisting with everyday marketing tasks, as well as providing support during video shoots and photographic coverage.
Our social channels, campaigns and content convey our tone of voice and company values so we’re looking for someone who shares our wry sense of humour, likes a pun or two, and who isn’t afraid to take risks and try new things.
As a Content and Social Assistant, you will be responsible for;
- Delivering consistent social posts and reacting to people engaging with the social platforms
- Rebranding collateral from our partners and vendors into Intercity’s brand and tone of voice (TOV)
- Creating and repurposing content for campaigns
- Supporting content creation in organising and undertaking video and photography shoots
- Create and curate content to support internal communication initiatives
- Support the Marketing Team’s content strategy through the creation of assets (PDFs, guides, articles, blogs, infographics, webpages, videos, and social content)
- Provide media coverage for internal events and marketing pop-ups when required
- Update and maintain pages on the company website and intranet
- Manage content across various platforms to ensure accuracy and relevance
- Develop and edit documentation/resources to support business initiatives
Key Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 1 year in a previous marketing role
- Hands-on experience creating engaging content for various media platforms
- Excellent creative writing skills (including written English)
- Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms, Google Marketing Platform and HubSpot preferred but not essential
- Experience with Social Media Platforms required
- Excellent knowledge of Premiere, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects etc as part of Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite
- An impeccable eye for good social media content, branding, marketing and design
- A hands-on approach to content creation and delivery, with an interest in learning more about media production
- Ability to turn your hand to a multitude of social & content outputs, happy to roll up your sleeves & get involved!
- Genuine passion for social media with a finger on the pulse for current trends, and suggestions of how Intercity can approach these with our TOV
